Feral Movement Workshop

April 13 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

$45

During a feral movement workshop, you will get in touch with your wild body and its natural movement. In a playful atmosphere, we will go on a journey into the wilderness with a small tribe of human animals. You will learn how to walk on all fours, climb, balance, jump, squat, and more! In the first part of the workshop I will get us warming up by teaching some basic feral movement skills and playing some games. In the second half of the workshop, we will immerse ourselves into our environment and primal bodies and go on a journey unlike any other.

Location: At the creek and in the bush at the beautuful Dreamfarm Village in the Huon Valley, Tasmania.

The address will be provided via email upon booking.

Clothing & footwear: make sure to wear comfortable clothing to move around in that could get a little dirty or wet. Being barefoot will be encouraged and advised, however minimalist or barefoot-type footwear is also ok. Bring a waterproof in case there is light rain.

Age range: anyone from the age of 12! There is no real limit as long as you are able to move around fairly comfortably in natural environments and don’t have any debilitating injuries.

Weather: The workshop will be postponed or canceled in case of heavy rain

Food & beverages: please bring a picnic lunch for us to all eat together at the end of the workshop. Hot tea will be provided at the end. Make sure to bring a bottle of water for the workshop itself.

Please indicate you are “going” on facebook and/or email wild@christianehowe.com to confirm your booking! Thank you.
